Clyde – Chihuahua Cross, approx. 6 years old

Clyde is a gentle little soul who just needs time and patience to feel secure. He can be a bit skittish with new people and situations, but once he trusts you, he is very affectionate and loving.

We think Clyde may have lived outdoors before, so many everyday experiences are still new for him. He is learning all the time, but he will do best in a quiet, understanding home where he can continue building his confidence at his own pace.

Clyde enjoys his walks and is good on the lead, though he needs a bit of reassurance around strangers. He gets along with other dogs (sometimes a little growly at first, just to let them know he’s unsure) and travels well in the car. He’s still working on his house training, but with kindness and consistency he will get there.

What Clyde needs most is a loving, patient family who will give him the security he’s been missing. With time and reassurance, he will blossom into a loyal little companion.
