Nikky had the roughest start imaginable, and it really is a miracle that he survived. But despite being left to starve, he has grown into a happy, playful little puppy who is now full of fun and mischief. 

And don’t let his size fool you — Nikky may be little, but he certainly has a big personality! 

Nikky would really benefit from having a confident, sensible dog in his new home to help him learn good manners and boundaries.

He can be quite playful and a little mouthy, so we feel older children would be the best fit for him. Like many young dogs who have had a difficult beginning, Nikky is still learning that he doesn’t need to worry about his food or favourite things. He can sometimes be reluctant to share, but with gentle guidance, patience and positive training, these are things he can continue to learn.

He is currently living happily with four dogs of different sizes and absolutely loves the bigger dogs. He does tend to be a little more interested in chasing the dog closest to his own size, so a confident dog who can show him the ropes would be ideal.

Nikky has come such a long way from the tiny puppy who fought so hard to survive, and it would be wonderful to see him continue to flourish in a loving forever home. 

He is a very special little boy with a huge personality, and we know there is a wonderful family out there waiting to give him the life he deserves.
