Louie is a gentle and sweet 5-year-old lurcher boy. He’s house-trained, well-behaved, and sleeps peacefully through the night in his crate — no fuss, no mess. He’s also fantastic with children and visitors.
He loves going for walks, especially during quiet times like the early morning. Louie is particularly sensitive to motorbikes which can make him anxious. For this reason, a peaceful, low-traffic neighborhood would be the best fit for him.
Louie does best as an only pet. He can become nervous around other dogs and cats especially if dog barks at him or come too close. His reactions come from fear, not aggression, but he needs an understanding owner who can gently guide him, respect his space, and make him feel safe. Walks should be planned in calm areas where he feels secure.
Louie will thrive with a patient, calm person or family who can give him the time and love he needs to settle in and build trust. He also needs someone who can help him feel protected on walks and offer confidence.
